An All-in-One SolutionScanBoxScanbox is an integrated system for measuring the dimensions and weight of different sized objects. The ScanBox system consists of a metallic structure incorporating an infra-red light scanner, a RGB camera, a computer, a touch screen monitor and a barcode scanner. The system is also connected to a weighing scale that outputs the weight of the object.
The system works in real time, returning all the desired data in a matter of seconds. The interaction with the system is made through the touch screen display, where an operator selects the product, triggers the data capture, and scans the product bar codes. ScanBox also acquires a high-quality picture of the desired product, which is cropped according to the computed dimensions and shape of the product. |
